The parking and use fee for the Wing Mountain Snow Play Area is $15 per car.  No re-entry is allowed.  All children under 16 must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult.

Many of our visitors ask us if we offer cross-country skiing.  For those interested, the Flagstaff Nordic Center, just a few miles north of Wing Mountain, offers outstanding cross-country skiing at their full-service facility.

Wing Mountain is an outdoor recreation area.  Make sure you dress appropriately for the cold.  Visitors should expect icy patches on the ground and need to wear sensible outdoor shoes.  For example, women are encouraged not to wear high heels.

 
 

Wing Mountain Snowplay is operated by Recreation Resource Management under special use permit with the Coconino National Forest.  Recreation Resource Management is a national leader in management of public recreation facilities.

Happy President's Day, today is our last day to be open for the season. Last night we moved the snow around so all of you would have a great time sledding and playing in the snow. Should last all day. This has been a very good season and I would like to thank all of you for coming out and supporting us. There will be some great deals today on food and drink at the snack bar. Today was a great day for the snow going public, it looked like eveyone had fun sledding and playing in the snow. With the really nice weather, the snow is melting very quickly, (WE STILL HAVE SNOW) we have over half our hill closed to sledding. So tomorrow Sunday and Monday the charge will go from $15 per car to $10 per car. The next two days will be snow play days, with sledding limited to only part of the hill. Hi everyone, we will be open today (Superbowl Sunday) from 9am to 3:30pm. We will be closed Monday and Tuesday, and open back up on Wednesday. We will stay open at our regular hours until Presidents day (open on Monday Presidents Day), then we will be closed. Wood, metal, and fiberglass sleds are not allowed at Wing Mountain. Only lightweight plastic sleds are allowed.
